The Greene County Iowa Genealogical Society will meet Saturday, Dec. 7 at 10 am in the handicap accessible basement meeting room at the Jefferson public library.
Shirly Haupert will be present to explain the operation and needs of the Action Resource Center (ARC – food pantry). All members are encouraged to bring non-perishable items to the meeting as a donation to the ARC.
Members are also asked to bring snacks and stories of family and Christmas traditions.
The genealogy reference library is open Wednesday afternoons from 1 to 3 pm and Saturdays from 9 to 11 am. Members can use the reference library during regular library hours.
