The Greene County FFA will partner with the Central Plains FFA to collect food and goods to donate to their local food pantries.
They will accept donations the week of Oct. 7 until the first quarter of the football game at Southeast Valley on Oct. 11. This friendly competition is to see which chapter can collect the most donations for their community.
Some items that are recommended to bring are soup, chili beans, canned vegetables, mac and cheese, ketchup and other condiments, shampoo and conditioner, bar soaps, gloves, and hats. The chapter that collects the most donations will be announced at the football game on Friday.
Please note that the donations do not count as admissions into the game.
