The Greene County Iowa Genealogical Society will meet Saturday, Oct. 5, at 10 am in the basement meeting room at the Jefferson public library.
The program will be a discussion of vital records. Attendees are asked to bring copies of a couple of their favorite or meaningful documents. Be ready to explain where you found it, what you have learned from it, and why it is special to you.
The meeting room is handicap accessible. All are welcome. The genealogy reference library is open Wednesdays from 1 to 3 pm and Saturdays from 9 to 11 am. Members can use the reference library whenever the library is open.
