The Kiwanis Club of Jefferson recently donated $1,000 to the Greene County elementary’s Ram Reader program. The goal of the program is to provide each student with a free book to take home before each long break throughout the school year.
The mission of Kiwanis is to support the youth of our community. By encouraging our students to read, we are able to positively impact their educational growth,” a Kiwanis spokesperson said.
