4-H clothing, communication county fair results told

The 2024 Greene County Fair 4-H Clothing Event was held Tuesday, July 9, at the Greene County Fairgrounds. Thirteen exhibitors competed in the event, which was judged by Sherry Vogel of Gowrie.  Youth participants also showcased their projects in the 4-H Fashion Show held Friday, July 12, at the  fairgrounds.

Results of the 2024 Greene County Fair 4-H Clothing Event were as follows: Ava Allen, $20 Challenge, 1B; Olivia Burkett, $20 Challenge, 1B; Savannah Lansman, clothing selection, 1B, and $20 Challenge, 1B; Paisley Allen, clothing selection, 2B, and $20 Challenge, 1B; Ella Tasler, clothing selection, 1B; Jentry Hedges, $20 Challenge, 2B; Jaelynn Hedges, $20 Challenge, 2B; Anna Towers, $20 Challenge, 1B; Tayleigh Thorpe, $20 Challenge, 1B; Emma Gliem, $20 Challenge, 1B; Clarissa Richards, 1B; Ella Tasler, $20 Challenge, 1B; and Kenna Minnihan, $20 Challenge, 1B.  

Clover Kids Fashion: Harper Fouch, Walker Barrett, Alayna Hedges, Jorja Hedges, Huntley Thorpe, Magnolia Johnston, Addelyn Theulen, Riah Riphagen, Anna Thomas and Lydia Mallinger, all $20 Challenge, and one blue ribbon each.

Clay County Fair Selections: Junior, $20 Challenge, Ava Allen and Kenna Minnihan; and Intermediate, R20 Challenge, Jaelynn Hedges.

Iowa State Fair Selections: $20 Challenge, Savannah Lansman; and Clothing selection, Paisley Allen.

The Greene County Communications at the Fair program took place Saturday, July 13, at the Greene County Fairgrounds. The event was judged by Brooklin Border and  coordinated by communications superintendent Yvette Bardole.
