Greenbrier 4-H club

The Greenbrier 4-H club met on June 10 at 7 pm in the Clover Hall. 

The Young Leaders reported that they helped paint roadblocks and cleaned the livestock buildings in preparation for the Greene County Fair, scheduled for July 9-14. 

Old business was livestock ID past due as of May 15. New business was Iowa State Fair entries due July 1. 

Educational presentations were given by Grace Hardaway on the influence we have on child development, Jaelynn and Jentry Hedges on the parts of a saddle,  Maxton Wahl on wrestling, Autumn Barrett on the community lamb barn project, and Lily Barrett on pigs. 

Refreshments were provided by the presentation givers. Greenbrier’s next meeting will be held Sept. 9 at 7 pm in the Clover Hall.
