The Greene County Cattlemen’s Association unveiled its new van at the Bell Tower Festival on June 8. The refrigerated vehicle will be utilized to transport their beef products and other supplies to various locations where the members will use their grilling skills to feed the hungry customers.
The van was purchased thanks to an $85,000 grant from Grow Greene County. Additional funds were added from proceeds of the sale of banners, trophies, belt buckles and other merchandise at the annual cattlemen’s banquet.
The attractive wrap on the vehicle along with the personalized license plate leaves no doubt who the vehicle belongs to. It has already been utilized a couple of times since its purchase. Numerous other grilling events are scheduled including the Greene County Fair in mid-July. ~courtesy of The Scranton Journal
