Area students receive GCMC scholarships

Four area students receive a total of $7,000 in scholarships from the Greene County Medical Center Foundation and auxiliary.

“Each year we receive applications from area students pursuing careers in a variety of different healthcare-related fields,” said Foundation director Nancy Houska. “It is inspiring to see their passion and dedication in obtaining an education that will give back to so many others. Not only is it our pleasure to support these individuals and assist them in reaching their personal goals, we are also able to support our communities by ensuring the advancement of healthcare in our region.”

All four of the students received a scholarship award from both the Foundation and the auxiliary.
