The Greene County boys track and field team took part in a meet April 22 at Gilbert and on Thursday at Roland-Story High School, with the 4×100 meter relay team of Trey Schilling, Nathan Behne, Broc Stream and Nick Madsen competing at the Drake Relays on Thursday.
The Drake Relay runners ran in the preliminary 4×100 meter race, taking 74th with a time of 46.67, beating their seed time by .17 second. The top eight teams advanced to the finals, with the Rams missing the top eight qualifying time by 4.24 seconds. ADM took first in the finals race with a time of 41.38.
The Rams took sixth place at Gilbert April 22. Top Ram finishers include Broc Stream, taking first in long jump and Kamden Kinne placing third in shot put. Jace Wilson was just behind, taking fourth in shot put, with Isaac Carman finishing fourth in discus. Camden Strennen finished fifth in the 400 meter hurdles, with Jaden Koller taking fifth in the 3200 meter run.
The Ram 4×400 meter relay team of Nick Stream, B. Stream, Drew Wolterman and Madsen placed fourth, with the 4×110 meter shuttle hurdle team of Eli Mohr, Lane Fields, Strennen and Patrick Graham taking fifth.

The Rams traveled to Roland-Story High School on Thursday to take part in the Norsemen Relays, placing fourth as a team.
Broc Stream won the long jump, with Fields taking third in the high jump and 400 meter hurdles. Schilling had a third place 100 meter dash finish, with Wolterman taking third in the 1600 meter run. Crew Conner finished fifth in the 800 meter run.
