Player and sponsorship registration is now open for the 12th annual Greene County Medical Center Foundation Golf Tournament fundraiser.
The four-person, best ball tournament is again scheduled during Jefferson’s Bell Tower Festival, with a shotgun start Friday, June 7, at 9 am at the Jefferson Community Golf Course.
“Our golfers have really enjoyed the opportunity to combine a day of golf on our beautiful course with the ability to join in the late afternoon and evening events scheduled for the Bell Tower Festival,” said Greene County Medical Center Foundation director Nancy Houska.
Proceeds from the Foundation Golf Tournament are used to support equipment needs, programming and healthcare services for all of Greene County and beyond.
“Since the Greene County Medical Center Pain Clinic opened in January of 2022, the Foundation has supported the rental and now purchase of their equipment,” Houska explained. “In the future, donated funds may be used to support capital projects and scholarships for local students pursuing a career in any medical field. Players and sponsors are also giving back to the Bell Tower Festival with a portion of the proceeds donated to Jefferson Matters for their 2025 event.”
A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available, regardless of play in the tournament. Golfers can register as a foursome or in pairs and the Foundation will match them up to create a four-person team.
More information and registration for play and/or sponsorships can be found online at bit.ly/GCMCGolf, by logging on to Greene County Medical Center | Foundation Golf Tournament (gcmchealth.com) or by texting GCMCGolf to 4144. Those with questions may contact Houska at 515-386-0108.
