The Greene County Lamb Producers are hosting their annual banquet Saturday, March 16, at Clover Hall on the Greene County Fairgrounds in Jefferson.
This yearly fundraising event provides money to purchase awards for the 4-H members at the Greene County Fair.
Leg of lamb will be prepared by the Lamb Producers with sides provided by Lidderdale Country Store starting at 6:30 p.m. The 2023 Fair Awards will be presented followed by the auction.
Proceeds will be used to help fund the 4-H program, the Community Barn Project, senior scholarships and various other projects.
Tickets are $15 each. They will be available at the door or from the Lamb Producers Steve Karber, Kevin Lentz, Melisssa Barrett, Kasandra Hedges, Dave Ostrander, Eldo Walker, Chuck Hare, Jeremy Hoskins and Randy Hedges.
The public is invited to attend this family-oriented event.
