Register now for March 27 event
Home State Bank and Wild Rose Casino are combining their efforts to host “Operation Meal Madness” on Wednesday, March 27. They are looking for volunteers to assist with the event.
This is the fifth annual event, but with changes to make it more locally based. A change in dates and organization has been made from Meals of the Heartland to Midwest Mission, which has an office in Jefferson.
Home State Bank and Wild Rose Casino will split the cost for all supplies and Midwest Mission is providing a discount on goods. Greene County Medical Center is asserting a strong presence by pledging to provide the most volunteers and T-shirts for early registrants for the events.
Doors will open at 6 pm at Wild Rose Casino’s Greene Room event center. The event is open to the public, but children must be at least 10 years of age and accompanied by an adult at all times.
Registration will close on March 6 or sooner as spaces are limited. The volunteer event will take no longer than two hours.
