The Greene County Extension and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR), through a partnership with Alliant Energy, is offering a mixture of hardwoods, low-growing ornamental, and evergreen tree species, for $25 each. The trees are valued at $75 each.
Alliant Energy customers can purchase up to two trees to be picked up at the following locations five different locations in the Alliant service area, with the Greene County Extension office in Jefferson one of the options.
The Jefferson pickup is Tuesday, April 30, from 4 to 6 pm.
