Greene County FFA members were among those who competed in Leadership and Career Development Events (LDE, CDE) at a sub-district event at CAM High School in Anita Jan. 17.
LDEs and CDEs help students develop the abilities to think critically, communicate clearly and perform effectively in a competitive job market, an FFA press release stated.
Greene County FFA had competitors in the areas of agricultural broadcasting, public speaking, chapter program, FFA creed speaking, arc welding, oxy welding, and job interview. A number of members also did sub-district quizzes for Discovery, Greenhand, and Chapter divisions.
