The Greene County Iowa Genealogical Society will meet Saturday, Jan. 6, at 10 am.
Assistance in finding more information about farming ancestors will be the program. Mary Ealy’s topic will be on using plat books and understanding land descriptions to find where ancestors lived and worked.
The meeting room at the Jefferson Public Library basement is handicap accessible. Members and nonmembers are welcome.
