Greene County Extension & Outreach is hosting a series of Ag Coffee events, bringing farmers and other agricultural professionals together for an informal discussion on current Ag topics.
The next discussion is planned for Friday, Jan. 19, from 9:30 to 11 am at the Greene County Extension & Outreach meeting room. This Ag Coffee is free, no registration is required.
January’s topic will be Advances in Ag, presented by Jay Harmon, ISU, Ag & Natural Resources Extension & associate dean-College of Ag & Life Sciences. “Technology advances in our ever-changing world are coming fast and furious. Technology in agriculture is no exception to that. This presentation will give an overview of some of the new things in various sectors of ag production, especially focusing on crop and livestock production,” Harmon said.
This January meeting is sponsored by Heartland Bank. Persons who want more information can call the Greene County Extension office at 515-386-2138.
