GrCo HS students present Christmas comedy Dec. 1-2

This Friday and Saturday, Dec. 1-2, at 7 pm in the Greene County High School Auditorium, high school students will perform “Santa’s Zombie Apocolypse,” a comedy by Bradley Walton with permission of Theatre Folk.com

This merry, not scary comedy features two reindeer who are visiting their grandparents at the North Pole. Unfortunately, their visit will coincide with the arrival of zombies. The reindeer disobey evacuation orders to rescue Santa and hope this will earn them a spot on his flying reindeer team. But first they must defeat the zombies without the help of a cadre of selfish elves or Santa’s magic ( which was drained due to being trapped with his lawyers), and without being stopped by the mysterious person(s) who had the zombies delivered in the first place.

This comedy for young and old delivers laughs, some multimedia effects, and a few Christmas lessons about cooperation.

The cast features Lucy Vander Linden and Ella Ostrander as the reindeer; Daniel Strawn, Ava Schilling, Aden Bardole, Bill Wright, Emma Acton, Daniele Madsen, Charlie Cooklin, Aiden Clark, William Graham, Shelby Finley, Trystan Naylor and Austin Lacey as elves; Seth Bellinghausen as the delivery guy; Carter Petterson as Santa; and Karlee Fagerlind and Hayden Madison as zombies.

Tickets are $3 for students and $12 for adults. They are available at the door or by using the QR code for the Bound website. Events are listed chronologically.
