Paton-Churdan students will present their annual Veterans Day program Friday, Nov. 10, at the school. Students will present patriotic music and readings, and honor all area veterans in attendance. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
American Legion Post 198 will host a soup supper that evening from 5 to 7 pm at the legion hall, 500 Fitzpatrick St in Churdan. Chili, vegetable beef soup, potato and ham soup, chicken and wild rice soup, bread and dessert will be served for dine in or carry out. A free will donation with a suggested minimum of $7 will be accepted.
