The Chapter CZ of P.E.O. scholarship for 2022 was awarded to Sarah Lentz of Jefferson during the group’s fundraiser at The Centennial. After completing her LPN training at Iowa Central, Sarah is now pursuing her associate degree in nursing (ADN) to become a registered nurse. The $400 scholarship from Chapter CZ was utilized to reach this goal.
P.E.O. Chapter CZ has offered scholarships to local women continuing their education since 1990. P.E.O. International also has a number of scholarship opportunities for women.
P.E.O. is a philanthropic organization where women celebrate the advancement of women; educate women through scholarships, grants, awards, loans, and stewardship of Cottey College and motivate women to achieve their highest aspirations.
