The Greene County Genealogical Society has changed its name and is now the Greene County Iowa Genealogical Society. This will be beneficial online to keep from getting mixed with other states that also have a Greene County.
The November meeting will be Saturday, Nov. 4, at 10 am in the basement meeting room at the public library. The group will hold a preseason Holiday Party. Everyone will bring snacks to share. For the program, please bring a special Christmas ornament. Be remembering some old family traditions and stories to share.
Everyone is welcome and the basement is handicapped accessible. We will also be collecting non-perishable items for the food pantry.
