The Ram cross-country teams competed Sept. 14 in the Panorama cross country invitational at Panora.
Noah Hinote paced the Rams with a time of 18:24, good for 16th place. Other Ram times and places were Brady Carstensen, 289th, 19:03; Gavyn Winters, 36th 19:19; Carter Hinote, 62nd, 20:23; Kolby Angell, 77th, 20:39;, Blaise Schilling, 124th, 22:25; Eli Carstensen 22:40, Maddox Carstensen, 131st, 22:44; and Dexter Ritter 32:29.
AC/GC won the meet with 69 points. Other team scores were Atlantic 84; Kuemper Catholic 88, Clarinda 101, Ogden 138, Madrid 183, Des Moines Christian 192, Greene County 192, IKM-Manning 205, Tri-Center 270, Southeast Valley 285, Nodaway Valley 287, Van Meter 345, and Woodward Academy 407.
Only two Rams competed in the girls race. Becca Anderson was the first Ram to finish with a time of 24:43.5, finishing in 49th place. Ava Minnehan was in 57th place with a time of 25:04.3
The winning time in the race was 19:53.0 by Raenna Henke of Clarinda.
