In Greene County magistrate court Jason William Sheldahl of Scranton was sentenced Sept. 13 to one day in jail with credit for time served after he changed his plea to guilty to a charge of assault. He was fined $105 with a $15.75 surcharge. Court costs were not listed.
Disposition was handed in two cases against Richard Charles Burkhardt of Jefferson. In the first he was charged with harassment- third degree and disorderly conduct- abusive epithets/ threatening gesture. A judgment was entered for a $105 fine with a $15.75 surcharge on the disorderly conduct charge. The harassment charge was dismissed. Court costs were $60 in that case.
In the second, Burkhardt was charged with disorderly conduct- loud raucous noise and public intoxication. A judgment was entered for a $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 court costs on public intoxication charge. The charge of disorderly conduct was dismissed.
He was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served in each case. The jail sentences are concurrent.
