A free program at the William Paton Public Library will feature discussion of how computer gaming can turn into an addiction.
Dorinda Wehde, problem gambling counselor for New Opportunities, will discuss the similarities between video games and gambling, the ways video game developers design games to be addictive, ways to identify symptoms and gambling lifestyle changes, and risks associated with gambling.
The program will be Wednesday, Aug. 2, at 5 pm. All are welcome.
