GrCo students to Business Horizons conference

Greene County High School business students Karma Butts and Makayla Byerly attended the Business Horizons conference July 16-20 at Drake University in Des Moines.
Business Horizons is a five-day innovation simulation bringing students in grades 9-12 of all experience levels from across the state together to gain a better sense of how their skills connect to the business world and the real world. Students are placed in teams, and they work together to solve a situation.

Home State Bank president Bob Allen and Jefferson Telecom general manager Jamie Daubendiek have participated in Leadership Iowa and know how beneficial Business Horizons is for our students. They sponsored Butts and Byerly for the Business Horizons Conference.
