Persons pleaded not guilty to charges in Greene County district court as follows: Morquett Borlin Jackson, 38, of Fort Dodge, fraudulent practice second degree and gambling- avoid setoff; and Zein Mohammed Ibrahim, 36, of Harcourt, stalking- violation of protective order. Trial dates were set for Aug. 22 in both cases.
Cases were initiated in district court during the week ending June 30 as follows: Mychael Douglas Mueller, 33, of Fort Dodge, fraudulent practice- third degree and gambling avoid setoff; Christopher John Sorensen, 31, of Paton, fraudulent practice- third degree and gambling avoid setoff; Robert Charles Harvilicz (aka Anderson), 43, of Jefferson, possession of marijuana, controlled substance violation, dominion/control of firearm/offensive weapon by domestic abuse offender, and domestic abuse assault- second offense, and in a separate case, driving while license revoked; and Chia Grabel, 49, of Churdan, operating while intoxicated.
