The Jamaica public library will host Friendship Adventures Thursday, July 6, at 6 pm at the Jamaica Community Center. This interactive show features master performer Toby KID. There will be singing, magic, dancing and lots of silliness. All are invited.
This program is part of the Jamaica public librarySummer 2023 reading program. Literacy is a priority for our nation’s youth. This presentation will encourage children to become friends with a good book. It also encourages children to find the story and their voice in their friendship with others.
The show features international performer and master educator Toby KID. Each year Toby tours the nation presenting educational and entertaining programs at schools, camps and libraries with the objective of making people happier. “Watching Toby perform is a master’s class in all things funny,” says Randy Christiansen, president of Clowns of America.
No pre-registration is required and the show is free to all attendees. “Friendship Adventures is a great event for families,” a library spokesperson said.
