It’s no secret that Iowans love meat. The month of May is celebrated as Beef Month and Greene County Farm Bureau and Jefferson Fareway are pleased to collaborate together to offer a promotion called “T-bone Tuesdays” during the month.
Shoppers will have the opportunity to register at the Fareway meat counter to win a 4-pack of T-bone steaks to be given away each Tuesday during the month. No purchase is necessary, and a weekly winner will be drawn and notified.
Brent Schroeder, Greene County Farm Bureau president said “This partnership between the county Farm Bureau and Fareway is a win-win for all of us. As livestock producers we take pride not only in being caregivers to our livestock, but also in offering consumers a safe, nutritious, and delicious source of protein. With grilling season upon us, this is the perfect way to kick off the season with a chance to win some T-bone steaks.”
