Both the Ram girls and Ram boys 4 X 100m relays qualified for the Drake Relays at Drake Stadium in Des Moines this weekend. Drake Relays accepts the 96 fastest times across the state for competition.
The girls qualified with the 58th fastest time of 51.60 seconds. Olivia Shannon, Kamryn Sanders, Natalie Heupel and Katrina Heupel comprise the team. All are seniors.
The boys qualified with the 85th fastest time of 44.65 seconds. Junior Trey Schilling, sophomore Camden Strennen, and seniors Richard Daugherty and Jesse Miller are on the team.
High school 4 x 100 meter preliminaries are Saturday morning, April 29, with the eight fastest advancing to Saturday afternoon’s finals.
