Grant to Charlson for RC Shack

A new business in Jefferson has been awarded Jefferson Wants You Incentive Funds for new start-ups.

The RC Shack located at 702 E Lincoln Way will open soon with owner Darrin Charlson. Charlson is relocating from Churdan to this new location to expand his inventory of remote controlled cars, boats, planes, choppers, and rock crawlers.  The shop will have vehicles, both new and used for sale, repair parts, and he can also provide repair services. A small outdoor race track is planned to race and teach how to run cars.

The Jefferson Wants You team awarded Charlson $2,500 towards his start-up costs.  There will be an announcement when the RC Shack is officially open for business. Charlson enjoys being involved with the Elks and other volunteer programs.
