Library Happenings

Tuesdays, 4 pm, Storytime – March 21, Garden; March 28, Space. Storytime crafts available all week.

Wednesdays, 4 pm, teen programs. March 15, board games; March 22, Legos; March 29, scavenger hunt.

Thursdays, 3 pm, adult events. March 16, book discussion, woman as main character; March 23, Easter crafts until the end of the month.

Saturdays, 9 am. March 18 and March 25, Bingo for Books.

The talented photographer Peg Gannon has some of her photos on display in the Rippey Library. Come see some of her favorite photos she has chosen to share.

Tuesdays at 10 am. Fellowship. All are welcome. There will be a soup meal the first Tuesday of the month at 11 am. Next lunch is April 4.

Lions Club – The Rippey Lions Club will gather on Thursday, March 16, at 6:30 pm with a served meal. Following the business meeting, Alan Robinson of Grand Junction will present the program. He is a board member of the Highway 144 Corridor Housing Initiative for the eastern part of Greene County, towns of Rippey, Grand Junction, Paton and Dana. 

Application forms are available at the Rippey public library, Peoples Bank and Rolling Hills Bank.

Spring break – Dale and Nancy Hanaman’s daughter Sarah Pearson and Elizabeth and Andrea are visiting during their granddaughter’s school vacations. They came from very snowy Superior, WI, to be greeted with more snow in Iowa.
