A man and woman of Jefferson were killed Saturday in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Highway 30 about one-half mile west of T Ave, west of Grand Junction.
The Greene County sheriff’s office, Grand Junction fire and rescue and the Iowa State Patrol responded to the scene at 9:11 pm. According to information from the Iowa State Patrol, Ryan Michael Vaughn, 32, and Shiena Marie Hadley, 41, were westbound when the driver lost control of the 2006 Chevrolet Colorado. The truck crossed the roadway and entered the south ditch, where it rolled and then struck a tree. Both Vaughn and Hadley were ejected. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
The ISP reports it is unknown who was driving the vehicle and the crash remains under investigation.
