Special elections slated for Grand Junction, P-C Schools

The Greene County auditor’s office is in charge of two upcoming special elections.

Residents of Grand Junction will go to the polls Tuesday, Feb. 14, to elect a new city council member. There are three candidates to fill the vacancy: Terry Hoefle, Dennis Jacobs and Spencer Kirk.

The Paton-Churdan Community School District is asking patrons to approve the revenue purpose statement for the district’s SAVE Fund (State Secure and Advanced Vision for Education). The election will be held Tuesday, March 7.

Absentee ballots will be available as soon as they are received by the auditor’s office.
