Take a look toward any corner of Greene County and you will see a project made possible by the Greene County Community Foundation (GCCF). Over the last 17 years, eager members of nonprofit organizations in Greene County have had ideas, hopes, dreams, and aspirations come to fruition with funding from GCCF.
‘We look forward to partnering with more Greene County organizations to continue positively impacting our neighborhoods and county,” a spokesperson said.
Last year the GCCF received 34 applications requesting $467,141 and was able to fund 18 projects totaling more than $208,000. “We are excited to see what projects we can help make a reality, enriching Greene County and its residents,” the spokesperson said.
The GCCF’s 2023 grant cycle is now in progress, open to applications for up to $35,000. Grant applications will be accepted through Friday, Feb. 23, 2023, at 4 pm. More information and applications are available at www.forgreenecounty.org.
