In Greene County magistrate court Benjamin Thomas Murphy of Fort Dodge was sentenced to two days in jail on a charge of contempt of court- failure to pay fine, amended from violation of a no contact order. He was fined $100 with a $15 surcharge. Court costs were $409.21
A judgment for a $105 fine with a $15.75 surcharge was entered against Colton Bishop of Grand Junction on a charge of public intoxication. Court costs were $60.
Information is available since the return of arrest warrants that Benjamin Ellingson of Jefferson is charged with violation of a no contact order, and that Shanda Jean Ellingson of Jefferson is charged with violation of a no contact order and possession of drug paraphernalia. Also, Christopher Herbert Lawrence of Ames is charged with criminal mischief- fifth degree.
Cases were initiated in magistrate court during the week ending Nov. 11 as follows: Avery Dawn Madison of Jefferson, possession of drug paraphernalia; and Jessie James Sanders of Churdan, possession of drug paraphernalia.
