The Heart of Iowa Activities Conference has released its All Conference volleyball teams. Five Rams are included.
Named to the First Team All Conference are seniors Bella Schroeder and Katrina Heupel. Junior Kaylee Stalder was named to the Second Team All Conference. Honorable mentions went to seniors Natalie Heupel and Alexa Peters.
Class 2A District 8 has also released its All District football teams.
The First team offense includes senior running back Patrick Daugherty, outside linemen junior Noah Cornell and sophomore Kamden Kinne, senior tight end Jesse Miller, and junior kicker Nathan Behne. Named as First team defense are defensive lineman junior Michael Rumley, linebacker junior Cody Allen, and defensive backs sophomore Camden Strennen and senior Richard Daugherty.
Second team offense includes junior quarterback Gabe Ebersole, junior wide receiver Jack Hansen, and sophomore outside linebacker Bryce Habben. Second team defense includes junior linebacker Gavin Scheuermann and sophomore defensive back Nick Stream.
Honorable mention was given to junior defensive back Trey Schilling.
Ram coach Caden Duncan was named Head Coach of the Year. The Rams finished the season 7-0 in the district and 8-2 overall.
