Analynn Baugh, Hannah Curtis and Emma Halterman are contestants for Greene County Fair queen and a chance to compete to be the 2022 Iowa State Fair queen. The local contest is slated for Wednesday, July 13, at 7 pm at Clover Hall on the Greene County fairgrounds.
Analynn Baugh is the daughter of Ronnie and Renae Baugh. She is entering her senior year at Greene County High School where she is involved in FFA and volleyball. After high school graduation she plans to attend Des Moines Area Community College and study elementary education. In her leisure time she enjoys spending time with friends, eating ice cream, and painting.
Hannah Curtis is the daughter of Kent and Danille Curtis and a sophomore at Simpson College. She is double majoring in English and history, and is director of administration of the Simpson chapter of Delta Delta Delta sorority. She plans to accept an undergraduate assistantship at Smith Chapel at Simpson where she will be in charge of programming. She also plans to be part of the Simpson College dance team and band. As a student at GrCoHS she was active in 4-H, National Honor Society, student council, Interact, band, choir, cross-country and track.
Emma Halterman is the daughter of Josh and Reanna Halterman. She is entering her senior year at GrCoHS. She is vice present of the Greene County FFA chapter. She hopes to attend college to study equine veterinary science. In her free time she likes to ride horses and spend time with friends.
The winner will be crowned by 2021 Greene County Fair queen Ashlyn Frederick
