Back to school season is right around the corner and this year, Greene County Medical Center is offering a variety of Back to School services and clinics to encourage parents and guardians to get their students’ Back to School appointments completed early.
Greene County Family Medicine Clinic will provide free sports physicals Wednesday, July 27 from 7 to 9 am; and Wednesday, Aug. 3, from 3 to 6 pm. The appointments will be at the Family Medicine Clinic.
No insurance is needed, no appointment is needed, but student athletes should have parental consent and their school sports form.
Immunizations will also be available at Greene County public health those days. Other Back to School appointments with primary providers can be scheduled by calling 515-386-0500.
Greene County public health will offer Back to School clinics Wednesday, July 20, from 4 to 6:15 pm; and Wednesday, Aug. 17, from 4 to 6:15 pm at the public health office on Level B at the clinic entrance of Greene County Medical Center.
Public health will offer evening clinics by appointment that will include lead/hemoglobin screenings, dental screenings, and vaccinations available. Public health will also have information regarding free backpacks. Public health will also continue to provide immunization clinics on Wednesdays by appointment only.
