The Bell Tower Festival parade was bigger this year than in recent years. According to parade chairman Rotarian Sam Harding, there were more than 80 entries in the parade. Morning rain ended at about 10:30 and the parade stepped off at 11 am as planned.
A pair of longtime Rotarians served as parade judges, picking winners in four categories: commercial, non-commercial, thematic, and best overall. Abundant Life Ministries, best overall winner, will receive a traveling trophy to display until the 2023 Bell Tower Festival.
The Bell Tower Festival parade has been sponsored and organized by the Rotary Club of Jefferson as a service to the community for three decades.
