Jed Magee of Jefferson, retired Iowa district court judge and attorney, will continue his occasional lectures on the life and career of President Abraham Lincoln with another program on Sunday, June 12, at the Greene County Historical Museum in Jefferson.
This time, Magee’s address will be on “Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Lincoln.”
After retirement, Magee donated most of his collection of Lincoln books, photos, paintings and other memorabilia to the Greene County Historical Society, and it is on display in our museum. He does programs a couple times each year on different aspects of Lincoln history.
The June 12 program will be at 2 pm. Admission and refreshments will be free.
