The Jefferson public library and Friends of the Library are bringing New York artist and author Michael Albert’s “Modern Pop Art Experience” to the Bell Tower Festival this year. Participants in this unique art activity will get to meet the artist and participate in a hands-on workshop experience to create their own 8” x 10” “Cerealism” art collage with Albert’s guidance.
Two workshops are scheduled: Friday, June 10, from 6 to 8 pm, and Saturday, June 11, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. The workshops will be held at the library, 200 W. Lincoln Way.
Both programs are free and open to ages 7-107 (must be able to cut with scissors). Space is limited to 50 at each session, so pre-registration is required. Persons who want to register can call the library at 515-386-4415 or register in person. Registration ends June 3.
