John Rigler III, president and chief operating officer of Peoples Bank, announced two promotions last week.
Jayme Ungs, senior vice president, has been promoted from market president to regional market president. He will now have oversight responsibility for both Greene and Boone counties, although he will continue to office in Jefferson.
Ungs is a 25-year banking veteran and also an area farmer.
“Over the past two years, our office in Jefferson has seen substantial growth under the leadership of Jayme with a heavy emphasis in the agricultural area,” said Rigler.
Tina Beaman is the new market president for Jefferson-Scranton. She will office in both Jefferson and Scranton branches.
“Tina brings a great deal of knowledge to the role with 25 years of financial services experience including 19 years at Peoples Bank,” added Rigler. “Tina will oversee and manage the Jefferson and Scranton bank branches along with Ungs.”
Derek Kennedy will continue to manage the Grand Junction and Ogden branches. Both individuals will report to Ungs.
“Jayme’s banking knowledge and personal experience as a farmer has helped him create value for numerous customers,” continued Rigler. “About anyone in ag or business who sits down with him for a conversation will be glad they did.
“Tina has done a tremendous job growing the Scranton bank over just the past four years. We are excited to extend her expertise to our county seat. Tina joins Ungs and Teresa Hagen to continue providing strong leadership within our business and a high level of service to our customers.
“Tina is known for her knowledge and willingness to help the team succeed. Her positive attitude creates a fun work environment for her staff and a welcoming atmosphere for our customers,” concluded Rigler.
