Deal’s Orchard was awarded the Outstanding Retail Experience Award in the rural category at the Iowa Tourism Conference held last week in Des Moines.
The Iowa Tourism Office presented 26 awards recognizing excellence in 13 categories, with a recipient in metro and rural businesses.
The Apple Barn is the center of Deal’s Orchard’s retail business. The Apple Barn offers apples and produce in season, as well as baked goods made on-site. Shoppers can also select from local honey, Iowa popcorn, corn salsa, apple butter and jam, or from a wide selection of home decor items.
