Michele Hull, director of the RSVP 55+ volunteer program in Greene, Guthrie and Boone counties will be the speaker for Community Conversations Thursday, April 7, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson.
RSVP 55+ provides opportunities for older residents to provide meaningful assistance to others. Opportunities range from being a pen pal with an elementary student to visiting the homebound elderly. The Grocery Assistance Program, GAP, is RSVP’s signature program in Greene County. GAP volunteers grocery shop for homebound elderly, helping them maintain healthy diets and freeing family caregivers from that task.
Community Conversations begins with fellowship at 5 pm with the program at 5:30 pm. All are invited; there is no charge.
