The Greene County Schools board of education met in a 10-minute special session Jan. 25 and approved retaining McPherson & Jacobson LLC of Omaha, NE, to conduct a search for a new school superintendent.
McPherson & Jacobson will receive a base consultation fee of $6,500, with a maximum of $8,500. Other proposals were received from Grundmeyer Leader Services and Jeff Herzberg.
The board set another special meeting for Wednesday, Feb. 2, at 5:15 pm to begin the process with McPherson and Jacobson.
School superintendent submitted his resignation at the Jan. 19 regular meeting. His resignation is effective at the end of the school year.
