Greene County Extension & Outreach is hosting a series of Ag Coffee events, bringing farmers and other agricultural professionals together for an informal discussion on current ag topics.
The next Ag Coffee is slated for Friday, Feb. 18, from 9:30 to 11 am program at the Greene County Extension & Outreach meeting room. The topic will be the Farm Bill, presented by Alexis Stevens, ISU farm management specialist. “The sign-up deadline for ARC/PLC with USDA Farm Service Agency is March 15, 2022. Learn about tools readily available to aid in the decision process prior to election and enrollment in Agricultural Risk Coverage (ARC) and/or Price Loss Coverage (PLC) commodity crop programs prior to the March 15, 2022 deadline,” Stevens said.
The February meeting is sponsored by Heartland Bank. Reservations are required. Persons who want more information can call the Extension office at 515-386-2138.
