There have been a total of 1,738 cases of Covide-19 diagnosed in Greene County, with 89 of them diagnosed in the past seven days. The 7-day positivity rate for Covid-19 testing is 15.3 percent, increased from 12.3 percent one week ago; the 14-day positivity rate is 14.6 percent.
Of the total population in the county, 56.4 percent is fully vaccinated.
Wolf reminds the public that booster doses of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines can be given five months after the second dose based on age: Pfizer- 12 years and older; Moderna- 18 years and older. A booster dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine can be given two months after the first dose for persons age 18 and older.
