Greene County Veterans Affairs and Veterans Commission is hosting an outreach event on Friday, Dec. 10, from 10 am to 2 pm in Clover Hall on the Greene County Fairgrounds in Jefferson.
All veterans are invited to learn more about health care, compensation / pension benefits and burial benefit eligibility.
Representatives from Des Moines VA clinic, Fort Dodge VA, Carroll CBOC clinic, area nursing homes, and the VA mobile clinic are scheduled to attend.
Lunch will be served. Veterans are asked to call 515-386-5673 by Dec. 1 to reserve a lunch. Persons leaving a message are reminded to include their name and phone number.
