The board of the Scranton United Charities reminds people in the comunity their donations are due on Nov. 22.
This is the only fund drive for many of these local charities. The board urges residents to give generously to help these organizations.
Listed for contributions in 2021 are: Greene County Food Pantry (ARC), Community Opportunities, Scranton Little League, Scranton Community Betterment, Scranton Community Center, Scranton Fire Department, Scranton Public Library, Scranton Park & Rec, Local Emergency / Disaster Funds and Other.
The contributions can be mailed to P. O. Box 127, Scranton, IA 51462 or dropped off at Peoples Bank office in Scranton. ~courtesy of The Scranton Journal
