Beulah Booth, 94, of Jefferson, formerly of Bagley, died October 28, 2021, at the Greene County Medical Center, Jefferson. Private family interment was at Dodge Township Cemetery. No public services were held.
Beulah Jane, daughter of Frank and Grace (Mason) Mowrey, was born Aug. 10, 1927. She attended Coon Rapids School where she was a star forward for the basketball championship team of 1946.
On March 16, 1948, Beulah was united in marriage to Albert Booth. From this union, one son was born. They made their home in Bagley, then moved to an acreage south of Bagley, then to Jefferson as Abe’s health worsened.
After Abe’s death, Beulah stayed at the house in Jefferson. She enjoyed playing Rummy and doing word puzzles.
In February 2019, Beulah was admitted to the Greene County Hospital for tests. She then became a resident of long term care until her passing.
Beulah was preceded in death by her husband of 50 year; parents; grandparents; sisters Patsy, Fern, and Edythe; and brothers Clarence, Wilbur, Merle, Wilson, and Clint.
Beulah is survived by her son Jack of Collins; grandsons Travis and wife Crystal of Norwalk, and Curtis and wife Jen of Collins; great-grandsons Grant and William of Collins; other relatives and friends.
The family was assisted by Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home, Jefferson.
