Programs slated on digital archive of county publications

The history of every town and neighborhood in the county is available in the Community History Archives available digitally at county libraries. The digital archive is a cooperative project of the Greene County Library Association to preserve and provide free access to newspapers, books and other resources that have recorded the history of the county.

Jeff Brown of Advantage Archives will present programs on how to use the digital archive Tuesday, Nov. 9, at the Churdan library meeting room. Sessions will be held from 10 to 11:30 am and from 12:30 to 2 pm.

Due to space limitations, those who plan to attend should call the library at 515-389-3423 to reserve a spot. Also, those who are able are asked to bring a laptop computer and table if possible.
